On the heels of a video production led by Gumbo Media, I had the opportunity to write a feature article on froSkate–Chicago-based BIPOC Femme skate crew–for the Nike App. The article centered on its founder, Karlie Thornton, and her unique but unsurprising path to leadership in the alternative corners of sport and community. In addition to writing the article, I also curated and designed it for the Nike App.
